Port Stanley: East side – 10:45 AM.

 Another eagle.

And what they are looking at.

Lake Erie: November 05, 2010

Port Stanley: East side – 10:30 AM. It's truly November now. Overcast and still but the breeze is quite sneeky and very cool. The eagles have found somewhere warmer to keep watch.

Lake Erie: November 04, 2010

Port Stanley: East side – 10:15 AM. Yep - still there. And why not - it must be quite a view.

Port Stanley: East side – 10:15 AM. Everything is so still and, perhaps because of the dampness in the air, it was very quiet - like it was just me, Cleo, the eagles and the Lake.

Port Stanley: East side – 10:15 AM. A beautiful misty November morning - and yes, look carefully - there is another eagle.

Lake Erie: November 03, 2010

Port Stanley: East side – 10:15 AM. Just hanging on.

Port Stanley: East side – 10:15 AM. The eagle is still there but has a friend this morning.

Lake Erie: November 02, 2010

Port Stanley: East side – 10:15 AM. Cool, still, mostly overcast November day. I can't tell if the eagle has moved at all since yesterday. Well, OK - probably.

Lake Erie: November 01, 2010

Port Stanley: East side – 10:15 AM. We had real frost last night and this morning everything is very quiet. The eagle is resting in the sun and I saw a small flock of Swans. If you look carefully on your travels, you can see a duck or two on small ponds, hawks and the little birds, like the tiny kinglet in my rose bushes yesterday, and the waxwings at Port Glasgow on Friday, foraging intently, storing up energy for the dash across the Lake to their winter homes.

Lake Erie: October 31, 2010

Port Stanley: East side – 10:15 AM. Just one eagle this time.

Port Stanley: Main Beach – 11:15 AM. A day at the beach.

Port Stanley: Harbour – 4:45 PM. Settling in for a dampish, murky Halloween.
