Lake Erie: October 28, 2010

Port Stanley: East side – 9:45 AM. After a very windy night, things are calming down for an overcast day with scattered, light showers.

Port Stanley: East side – 9:45 AM. Another day of strong waves chewing away at the cliff.

Lake Erie: October 27, 2010

Port Stanley: East side – 4:45 PM. A strong wind made for a day of waves - and you know how I like waves.

Lake Erie: October 26, 2010

Port Stanley: East side – 10:45 AM. The Lake is stirred up into a foamy cafe au lait ahead of the storm promised for later. The day was breezy and warm until the front barged through a little after 3 with more wind and rain.

Port Stanley: Main Beach – 3:45 PM. A day at the beach.

Port Stanley: Harbour – 6:30 PM. After the front passed through. The air was filled with gulls just hanging on the wind as if to decide whether the Lake was a safe place to land.

Lake Erie: October 25, 2010

Port Stanley: East side – 10:15 AM. The last scraps of colour hang on tight.

Port Stanley: East side – 10:15 AM. Rainy night, restless Lake, overcast day and a forcast of high winds and thunderstorms for tomorrow. Typical late October.

Lake Erie: October 24, 2010

Port Stanley: East side – 11:00 AM. More eagles. These two were sitting pretty in the tree and then the one moved down to a lower branch - sat for a minute and then slipped upside down. It fought to get back up and then gave up and let go and flew quite a way down the shoreline before it came back to its mate - probably saying "I meant to do that!"

Port Bruce: 11:30 AM. On Rush Creek Road before it drops into Pt. Bruce.

Port Stanley: Harbour – 4:30 PM. A lovely day that stayed quite warm and gradually worked its way into a rainy night with thunder showers.
