Lake Erie: March 08, 2010
Port Bruce: 2:30 PM. It's the day we've been waiting for. It's the day that those who have fled the country for warmer climes have missed out on. It's the day when, at 10°C, those who have stayed know that we've won. We've beaten it. In spite of the remaining pockets of ice and snow and the fact of snow in the weather forecast, we, who have fought the good fight, have won. Winter is on the way out and the victory is ours!
Port Bruce: 2:30 PM. Just colours and patterns. Always changing, always interesting.
Port Stanley: East side – 5:30 PM. The ice mounds on the beach are nearly gone. A single duck enjoys the sun and the open water.
