Port Stanley: East side – 11:30 AM. Just a close-up of how the cliff-face is faring.

Port Stanley: East side – 11:30 AM. The rain has been very hard on the swallow colony. There are still a few residents remaining but the babies have long since fledged. There will be a lot of work to do come next spring after their long flight back.

Port Stanley: Harbour – 11:45 AM. Why I pay a hefty bit in taxes. Today - and most days - it seems well worth it .

Port Stanley: East side – 9:45 AM. A peacefully cool night and a much more clear, sparkly day - I'm feeling almost human again. 

Port Stanley: Harbour – 7:45 PM. After a lovely coolish day, the temperature is still heading downward for a snuggle up kind of night.

Port Stanley: Harbour – 8:45 PM. This one was taken last night after I posted and shut the computer down for the night. I decided to put it here today. There was little to show for the murkyness as far as rain and it stayed muggy, warm and uncomfortable all night. 

Port Stanley: East Side – 4:45 PM. One storm has passed through and it looks like another is on the way. Rain - at last.

 Port Stanley: East side – 10:30 AM. The start of another unbearably muggy, hot day. It rained in the evening just a bit but didn't seem to help much.

Port Stanley: East side – 5:00 PM. The Lake grew more restless under the heat throughout the day. The wind grew stronger, giving some relief and the waves grew wilder. These shots were taken from the top of the cliff so are much bigger than they seem here with nothing to give perspective.
