Lake Erie: March 15, 2010
Port Stanley: Harbour – 9:30 AM. A gray start to the day.
Port Stanley: East side – 4:45 PM. The day finally gave over to hazy sunshine.
Port Stanley: East side – 4:45 PM. A pair of Canada geese scout the shoreline for a nest site. They usually pick a spot way too high on the cliff top. That's just my opinion of course. The babies have to jump for it when they hatch and tumble down to the water. They don't weigh anything - just a bit of fluff after all, so I guess it doesn't hurt them. Much.
